Bea first started playing squash when she was 8 years old and joined Bollington squash academy to take her passion for the sport further. Soon after, Bea entered her first tournament at the age of 10 and came runners up in the Cheshire junior open. After time spent training Bea now is a 4 time Cheshire champion for multiple age groups including U11’s and U13’s. Last season Bea was given the opportunity to not only play in division 2 for Bollington Ladies but to represent The North West of England at the team champs. Bea played well winning all her matches leading her team to win one of the top events in England. Bea continues to train 5 times a week with Bollington junior squash academy and Cheshire squash.
Bea also plays cricket during the summer months. Just after turning 9, Bea played for her local club- Bollington- whilst being the only girl at the time. At the age of 11, having gained some experience Bea was given the opportunity to captain Cheshire U11 girls despite it being her first year playing for them. Leading from the front Bea now represents Cheshire’s U13’s where she has been on tour to Malvern on multiple occasions developing her knowledge and ability to become a better player not only on the field but off too.
