Questions about our classes
What classes do you offer and where are they held?
We run high-level strength and balance classes, falls-prevention sessions, seated “Fit for Later Life” classes and specialist Parkinson’s classes. These take place in community settings across Cheshire East, including Alderley Edge, Prestbury and Wilmslow.
Do I need an assessment before joining?
Yes. Everyone is assessed to ensure they join the most suitable class and that exercises are adapted to their ability and goals.

High-Level Dynamic Strength and Balance
Our high-level class is designed for people who want a more challenging session to build strength, improve balance and boost overall fitness. Using dynamic, functional movements, the class helps improve stability, coordination and confidence for those who are already moderately active and looking to progress safely.

Intermediate Falls Prevention
This class focuses on reducing falls risk through targeted balance work, lower-limb strengthening and functional movement practice. It’s ideal for individuals who feel unsteady, have reduced confidence when walking or have experienced a fall. The aim is to build strength, improve stability and support safer day-to-day mobility.

Seated Fit for Later Life
A gentle, accessible class designed for older adults or those with reduced mobility who prefer to exercise in sitting. Movements focus on improving circulation, posture, joint mobility and strength, with optional supported standing work where appropriate. It’s a safe and welcoming way to stay active and maintain independence.
