Sophie Fletcher

Sophie Fletcher

Sophie is an allrounder athlete and extremely dedicated to sport.  Her main sport is hockey, and she is a member of the AEHC Ladies National League 1st Team squad at only 15 years old, getting her debut in October 2020.  Sophie has improved massively over the last year, both physically and technically; she is a natural playmaker, with great vision, speed and agility.  She has played County hockey, progressed to Manchester PC (U15) and has recently progressed to U17 level at only 15 years old. Sophie is an instrumental school hockey captain for the U15s and regularly plays up for the older age group. She represented AEHC at U12 National Finals where she scored the winning penalty flick to secure qualification for her team.

Sophie is also an elite trampolinist, consistently representing The King’s Schools’ Elite Trampolining Team in North West, Zonal and National finals every year since she was in Year 4.  Sophie was North West Champion when she was in Year 8 and finished 4th in the National individual competition.  In 2019, Sophie competed in America, representing Kings in the Worlds Schools cheerleading finals where her tumbling and flying were a key asset to the team.

In athletics, Sophie competes for Macclesfield Harriers and represented Cheshire U13 in high jump with a PB of 1.48m – almost her own height! She is an excellent hurdler, making County Finals a year young and winning numerous inter-school’s competitions.

Physiofit COVID-19 Update04 January 2021

We are pleased to announce that following guidance from the government, our clinics will remain open and we are still able to see patients face to face for “medical reasons” which include physiotherapy. We will continue to maintain strict protocols with physios wearing PPE and we ask that from now on all patients wear a medical grade mask (no cloth face coverings). These can be purchased from reception on arrival at a cost of £1. These decisions have been made with the safety of our staff, patients, and the wider community at the forefront of our minds.

Whether you have a new problem or need ongoing support for an existing condition, we are here to help you get back to what you love. If you are concerned about coming in to clinic but do not want to delay starting treatment, we continue to offer virtual consultations via phone or video if these are more appropriate.

We ask for your help by making sure that if you are not well or have had recent contact with someone with symptoms of COVID-19 you let us know before entering the clinic.

We hope you and your families all stay safe and well and we look forward to welcoming you back to Physiofit
