Fiona has extensive experience working to maximise a person’s potential within all settings, both as out-patient and essentially within their own homes or in residential care setting.
She has post graduate training in the field of neurology, recently attending the Bobath Institutes 2015 first annual conference as a delegate. She developed these skills at Trafford Hospital and the neuro out-patient gym at Macclesfield Hospital.
As a member of Agile she utilises up to date evidence-based research and in depth knowledge of the multi-faceted needs of the elderly, working in the community for the last 10 years to deliver an holistic approach to therapy.
She has enjoyed the challenge of developing our expanding comprehensive At Home and Later Life services over the last 4 years and is committed to developing her team so that they continue to provide quality goal orientated rapid response therapy within the community.
Fiona qualified in 1986 and is now bringing her valuable skills to our practice. She strongly feels that physiotherapy should provide the tools to ensure a person’s potential can be met and to maintain that ability whatever the person’s age.
