Akelia Esdaille

As well as working for the Physiofit At Home Team, Akeila is a band 4 rehab team member for the NHS at Waters Green Medical Centre working with elderly patients who have had falls, strokes and those with declining mobility who may simply need help with equipment usage.

She enjoys providing exercise and rehab support following prescribed treatment plan to help patients reach their goals. Her dedication to patient care and her love of helping her patients has made Akeila a popular member of our rehab team. 

She loves seeing how her patients learn new exercises, build up their tolerance and strength and the difference this can make to their independence, confidence and overall quality of life. 

Watching patients standing for a few seconds to walking across a room is a joy for Akeila to watch. As a keen walker in her free time, she is keen to help her patients to maintain their mobility.
