Lauren McLean

Lauren has both a Bsc in sports rehabilitation and physiotherapy from Liverpool University.

She completed her initial training at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe hospital, it was during her main band 6 rotation at Wythenshawe working in community respiratory and medicals that she saw the difference she could make to patients recovering from strokes. 

She worked with these patients both in the community and in hospital. She has further developed this interest to include specialist neuro rehabilitation training and recently completed the Bobath course which is a neuro therapy treatment. 

She is passionate about making a difference to patients’ lives specially those suffering complex neuro conditions. She works with her patients holistically to ensure they reach their treatment goals. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys going to the gym, walking, travelling and baking.
