Lucy Roberts

My name is Lucy Roberts, and I am a waterskier for team GB. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I was unable to attend both the European and World Championships this year. However, this allowed for me to better prepare for the British nationals in August. I fortunately came away from the event with four golds, a silver and two bronzes. After two years of uncertainty and injury it felt amazing to have been able to compete in nationals and come away the junior girls jump, trick, and overall champion as well as the open women’s trick. Thank you to Physiofit for helping me on by journey through the ups and the down and getting me back fit. Next year I hope to make the British under 21 team and to fly to Austria to compete in the U21 European championships”
