Seren Redfern

I am a member of the Welsh Athletics Regional Development Group and was a National finalist at the English Schools Championships in high jump and a bronze medallist at the Welsh National Combined Events this year. As I am moving into the U17’s age group it will be more difficult for me to achieve as much this year, but I would like to try to qualify for Nationals both indoors and outdoors. I have decided to move away from full multi-events and want to concentrate on sprints, jumps and long hurdles. It is important to me to get a good uninterrupted winter training block so I can achieve all I want to next year including a new event for me, the 300m hurdles. The following season I hope to gain a place at English Schools again as this was the highlight of the 2021 season.
